The goal of the United Steelworkers (USW)/ Severstal Wheeling Inc. Individual Career Development (ICD) program is to provide a positively charged learning atmosphere that is sensitive to the unique needs of steelworkers. It is our goal for steelworkers to have a successful return to the classroom through the ICD experience. Center programs will be designed to meet the needs of the individual workers. The process of ongoing training, education, and personal growth will be used to implement our programs. The outcome of these programs will be a workforce that is capable of reacting to changes and challenges as an opportunity to further expand personal growth.
